Meet the Dedicated Network of Helping Professionals Ready To Help You Secure Your First Home

It’s true what they say: everyone needs a helping hand—and that goes double for our state’s ongoing housing crisis. We believe that housing is truly a basic human right, which makes it all the more important to connect our fellow island residents to partners that are invested in helping them secure their futures across Hawai’i.

Alaula has been proud to partner with Hawaiian Community Assets (HCA) to help all of our island ‘ohana increase their financial literacy and pave the way towards securing your brand-new home, and we were heartened to see so many of our island kama’aina take advantage of all the wonderful programs they offer to make their dreams of owning their own home a reality.

We’re also proud to report that a good thing has just gotten even better, thanks to the assistance of many more of our friends in the community!

HCA has been joined by several community organizations to create the first-ever network of Financial Opportunity Centers, or FOCs, in an effort to bring comprehensive assistance and support to our fellow citizens that aspire to secure their futures on the islands. Overseen by the Local Initiative Support Coalition, a nationwide organization that partners with local and private partners to support and sustain regional communities, this outstanding network of providers are based on a national, evidence-based model for increasing and maximizing your ‘ohana’s income and assets.
